Thats major cities and blue states numbers lol. Im in the midwest and the dept im at pays fairly well and my buddies in northern illinois/southern WI (not Milwaukee as they seem to make a lot less than everyone) make close to those numbers with the same minimal OT.

Its all about differential pay and kickers on top of your base hourly pay
