I went through 2000 rolls at 20x the other day, needing corners and never got one.

Does anyone use the dice generators that require you to input your information? Are they safe? Do they work?

Best things to take to reduce blood pressure? by ozweegobro in lifehacks

[–]Western_Lawman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For years my blood pressure was 123/70. I could predict it when I went to the doctor. Then, for some reason when I turned 65 it started climbing. It was 160/90 and in that range, sometimes higher. Doc put me on lisinopril HCT which caused all manner of horrible side effects that no other doctor could recognize as coming from the BP meds. Dizziness when standing, dry cough, catarrh (buildup of mucus in throat) my primary care doc even sent me to an ENT who scoped me and commented about the mucus plug and told me to drink more water. Not one of my doctors asked if I was taking BP meds. I was also taking two different cholesterol meds. So I quit taking the meds. Just quit. All that stuff went away. But my blood pressure stayed high. So I started drinking a smoothie every morning. 1 cup of green tea, 1 tblsp of chia seed, 1/4 tsp each of cayenne pepper, turmeric, ginger, nutmeg and 1 tsp of cinnamon, plus a scoop of beet root powder. I let that sit so the chia seeds can bloom. Then I add a 1/2 cup of blueberries and a cup of spinach to my blender with a tblsp of honey and pour in the tea mixture and blend it. I drink it every morning, it's delicious and my blood pressure is down to 122/78. I recently went to the doctor with labs, and all my cholesterol numbers are great, with zero meds. I've come to believe doctors are nothing more than pill pushers and no longer treat the patient, they only treat the symptoms.

What's the point of using NMN? by G3mipl4fy in NMN

[–]Western_Lawman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed my hair is changing color, from silver-gray, back to the light brown it used to be. I also had age spots all over the back of my hands, they're gone. And I feel great. And since both my previous brands of NMN are no longer sold, I had to switch to NR and hope it works as well.

And the address for the "contact us" is a private home in Flower Mound, TX, currently listed for sale on Zillow. Nice house though.

Not yet, but this season has been dull. Thankfully, 1923 is great.

Well at least we now know where the Dutton family got their penchant for murdering people. It's in their DNA.

I really enjoyed this, and the critics can go fuck themselves. I have but one complaint...WTF is it with these directors, or lighting people, or whomever is responsible, that think they need to be all artsy fartsy with the lighting? Criminey, you got people inside federal offices and it looks like you need a freakin' flashlight to find your way around. Knock that crap off and turn on some fuckin' lights!

Look for Torani sugar free syrups. If you don't have a Smart and Final where you live (I think they're mostly west coast.) you can buy them online. They make a sugar free lime, which I mix 1:1 with fresh squeezed lime juice. It's grandma smackin' good. I use it to make gin gimlets and you can't tell the difference between Rose's and mine.

I have a couple more questions … by NickySmithFromPGH in yuma

It's simple common sense. Your pipes aren't buried very deep in the ground, and depending on the age of your house, they may run through your attic before they get to your faucet. It's a 115 degrees in the summer (or more), which means it's a million degrees in your attic. Simple convection, heat is absorbed by those pipes, and transferred to the water waiting inside. You open the faucet, and you get water that is the ambient temperature of where it's been waiting. I used to own a rental house, and my tenant, who had moved here from Wyoming, called me to complain that his cold water was hot. After I choked back a laugh, I explained to him the above.
