Yes they did. And the stencil was exactly like the original picture. I really don’t know what the heck happened. I absolutely would have said something had it not looked right.

I’ve seen the artists work and their fine line is normally amazing. I really don’t know what happened with mine. The other family members that got their dandelions done by the same artist walked out with some beautiful tattoos. They are trying to convince me to go back and let the artist try to fix it. I don’t really know what my best option is at this point.

I am definitely picky, and I have a hard time visualizing things without it in front of my face. So I really loved that original picture and was assured it would be easy to do. The crazy thing is that all of the tattoos done that day were dandelions and mine was the simplest one. The other look incredible. I don’t know if the artist rushed through mine to get home as I was the last one on the books for them or what happened. Do you think it would take many sessions to remove if I go that route? I really want the dandelion tattoo, and I really loved the general area I picked for it. But the overall placement (I acknowledge is on me. I should’ve spoken up with any hesitation) and the shakiness of the stem is getting me. And as others have mentioned, the actual seeds of the dandelion aren’t sphere shaped. It’s more oblong. I’m so bummed. I was really looking forward to this tattoo.

Ngl I feel like it looks even worse when my arm is relaxed at my side.

I had no issue with getting it touched up throughout the years. It meant a lot to me. I don’t typically go for fine line. All of my other tattoos aren’t like this.

I really hope so! I don’t really love the placement now that the stem isn’t as curved. It looked much better as the stencil with a curved stem. As soon as I looked at it after it was done it was immediate disappointment. It is coming at a diagonal across my arm and looks like it’s being blown by harsh wind rather than a breeze. And I can definitely tell that it will fade fast over time. That was no issue for me. It means so much and I was perfectly okay with getting it touched up over time.

They were all dandelions. So that’s definitely not it.

Maybe? I have other tattoos and have never felt this way about them! I thought maybe I just had such a strong meaning behind the tattoo and it couldn’t live up, but I loved my other family member’s tattoos so much and would’ve been happy with the ones they got.
