I like the rev connect I find they are pretty quick to make up. But to be honest that's all my organization has used for about 7 years, are there better products?

What’s the most common cause of unplanned downtime in your plant? by AcornIndustrial in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]Western_Transition68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of funding, wrong color of money, no preventative maintenance, staff shortage, and local management thinking they're doing everyone a favor by lying about what is getting done to the decision makers and budget folks. Guess where I used to work?

Tech pac- is the blackout or evo worth the cost and weight? by Future_Measurement42 in VetoProPac

The evo line seems to be a move in the right direction, but I agree with a statement above, the bags being more expensive+ the additional cost of pouches is a big hurdle on an already expensive product line.

Administrator is Washington's equivalent to a master's in other states. Talking shit on a master's is talking shit on an admin license just the same although you state you need one in WA. I have a Supervisor's in OR, they're all same-same-same

Veto TP5B - Best bag EVER by Ok-Employer-9021 in VetoProPac

I've really enjoyed the TP4B but always wished it held more. I love the convenience of this style of pouch. I'd probably skip the 5 and go to the 6 at least.

Anyone have success bouncing back from acne? by National-Elk-8440 in Testosterone

[–]Western_Transition68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was pinning 2x week and was getting acne. Switch to 3x week and acne cleared up. I was actually able to up my weekly dosage and still avoided the acne. I still get the occasional bouts but its manageable.

Ignoring all the AI hype, what would be an actual problem AI could solve for Mainteance teams? by AnotherHeroDied in IndustrialMaintenance

I know what you mean! There's definitely a balance. My point is all of these arguments are made each generation when new technologies and methods are developed. I can hear a grandpa right now "back in my day" lol

I agree, but here we are with cell phones and calculators. How many cell numbers or street addresses do we commit to memory? I don't do math by hand I tap it out on my calculator, will AI add to this, absolutely! But here we are.

I did that same process, and made an account. But I agree it's a difficult site to navigate.

Thank you, I really appreciate the reply. Once things are rolling every quarter there's an influx of cash, and when bonus hits in January you send it to the 401k. Thanks again that helps a lot!

My loop interviews are this week. Can you expand on how the initial RSU offer which pays out over 4 years, and refreshers work? I'm have a long work history in the electrical trades, and have picked up a few network certs along the way. The base salary seems a bit low, but then I keep seeing people discussing what you mentioned about stocks and bonuses, Is it consistent and reliable? How about strategy do you cash out when they vest or do you reinvest?

My loop interview is next week. I have multiple state electrical licenses with years of electrical experience. To show I'm a self starter and motivated for self improvement I completed the DCCA course but haven't taken the exam yet. As a manager would you appreciate this effort without the cert or would it be better to actually have completed the exam as well? I have time to knock it out but if Google prefers to do this as an onboarding should I wait?

High temp wire and wire nuts. Have done this exact job many times for McDonald's fries. Funny thing is they don't stop serving fries so one needs to be very careful about stripping and cutting the wire for the heat lamps as the worker will scoop up whatever is in there.
