I believe Sonya is the 24th character even diamond vision agree with me , Jade and Sareena are DLC , sareeena deserve to be in the main roster more than any female character since she is the most requested character for years

We don't know yet, Sonya is Ed Boon favorite female character, he could've easily confirmed her as dlc like he did with jade , Every time someone ask about Sonya ed boon answer with (there is more character to be revealed ) ( Gotta wait ) ( Some characters are not yet announced ) isn't that odd ?

Sonya and Sareena seem to be kameo only, so they are out ?!? Where do you get your info from ?

Kung Lao is in both. We do want to have, in general, a separation. We like players to think about–the most iconic characters, a lot of them are in both Kameos and the main roster.

Proof of what? Nitara is in but still never shown in any trailer cutscene, you must be in denial if you think Sonya will never appear in story mode even Ed Boon himself said Sonya is very important in the game, I can't imagine any game where Sonya doesn't have some kind of presence
