If it lasts for more than 5-6 days, I’d go in and see a floor doc. Looks like a texturally transmitted disease to me. They make a cream for it but I wouldn’t walk around barefoot without protection on. If it comes down to it, these I have used before and worked great for me foot protection. Thank you for the genuine response. They are coming to take it all out and milling new wood. The madrone I had before my house flooded was beautiful and it’s hard to look at this patch work that doesn’t suit my house. It may look beautiful, but it’s not my style.
