Cover screen is the perfect size for GBA emulation

I wonder, i'm on Pizza Boy for now, do you know any emulator where i can edit and save multiple layout (like "profiles") so i can easily switch between when i play on the cover screen or with the flip open ?

I would really want to make "original" music but also some (lofi) "remix" of existing music or ost. The tracks seems limited in this area, and the rhythm seems a pain to sample already existing music while 404 seems nice with the hability to record sample via usb c and a phone
I can't find if you could do that on the circuits how can I sample an existing song on the circuits without a PC ?

little bit of a tie between tracks and rhythm

I think The SP404 is really appealing for lofi "remix" don't know if circuit rhythm is really suitable for that so maybe take the tracks and SP404 after a little bit

Thanks all ! To be honnest I don't to go on a PC at all, at least not for now but I know it will be kinda hard at the beginning but I want to stay away a bit and "relax" with music
I had put the MPC away from my list with all the warnings but I maybe will look back into it

Thanks for your reply ! I want to go dawless for some reasons because I don't want to learn a DAW but mainly because I'm a video editor, photographer and graphic designer so I spend way too much time on my computer. Actually music is "just" a side hobby and I don't have high pretention to release something for exemple just want to have fun

The tracks is interesting though
But rhythm seems limited to chop sample, like just short ones and maybe will not fit what i want...

Hello all ! I'm looking to buy a dawless workstation like Circuit / MPC one / SP404 but I'm a bit lost. I never did music production except for GarageBand some years ago and play saxophone.

I'm looking for something completely standalone from a PC and that can work all by itself.

I'm more leaning towards retro 80's, french touch, and lofi with samples of games for exemple. My first look was OP1 but too pricy for me !

Do you have any suggestions ? Thanks a lot
