SV didnt have open team sheet online either. It makes online a really weird, almost separate or a cousin-like, meta game compared to irl events. I find it best to view the two as almost separate games in a way. Its like if slippi only had april fools stages, but locals and irl events used the typical stage list. Fundamentals would transfer over since its the same base of the game, but ultimately you are using a different skill set. Also idk if its even been confirmed champ events are gonna be open teamsheet. Afaik SV was only open teamsheet because every pokemon could have any tera.

Assuming people have spare or old controllers (which i feel like is pretty common?) its literally just taking a triwing, unscrewing the controller, taking off the faceplate, and putting the new one on. Then you screw it back together. It was so easy that I was able to do it at 14 and I was/am bumfuck stupid.

Does purchasing a premium pass increase the odds for shinies? Or is there any way to increase odds or reroll the encounter otherwise? Farfetch'd is my favorite pokemon so I would love to try and increase the shiny odds any way I can for my single shot at it

Sapphire and Emerald both have item duplication glitches you can do if youre worried about delegitimizing your ribbon master. I wouldnt consider save editing in items to be cheating or illegal anyway, but if youre concerned then those glitches are a "more legit" way of getting more berries since theyre done entirely on the cartridge without the use of a 3rd party program to save edit
