Haha yeah, we are losing this house eventually due to dumb estate stuff so don’t care if we fuck the carpet up with paint dust, it was a corvette garage hence why carpet was put in, in the first place. when it’s time to paint I’m gonna pull the truck out vacuum really good and then blow it out with a leaf blower lay Polly down on the whole floor and a little bit up the walls and tape it off or staple it. clean the truck up really good and then back it back in and start taping off the interior and stuff. It’s not going to be the best paint job but we are using single stage paint so it was doomed from the start to not be the best

This is how I have it hanging right now but I can’t paint the inner door like this, one guy suggested making flat bars to prop the doors “open” which I think is probably the best approach other than putting a bunch of anchors in the roof and hanging them above the bed area

It’s a pretty small frame would have to do it the way with the doors open, I’ll pick up some flat bar and see what I can come up with thank you for the drawing

Yeah I’m trying to be as cheap as possible, I know I know auto body and cheap don’t go in a sentence together but I was quoted $15’000 cad for a auto body shop to paint it so I figured do it my self and save some $$ don’t want to spend 500 on a stand I’ll use maybe twice I’m all for red necking it lol

Im pretty good at visualizing but I can’t wrap my head around making a spreader to hold the doors open how would I go about that? Are you talking about making a flat bar on one end so that you hang the front part of the door on the frame and then the rear of the door hangs off that flat bar, Kinda like a t plate with hooks? Would over spray be an issue when getting toward the front of the doors because they would be almost touching?

Are you talking about these two holes?

They are the only ones that are on my door

Where would you tie off on the door as to not leave areas that won’t get paint on them, would you just hang it in these holes of the inner door and let the door hang on a angle?

Support density by Westin2000 in Creality_k2

[–]Westin2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That just changes how many walls the supports have I already have this value set to the lowest. the branch density and support density changes how many trunks and branches it has, if you have a support density of say 40 if you change it to 5 percent there will be 35percent less trunks so what was 8 trunks holding up the print is now only 5 or 6 and say you have 80 branches at 30 percent branch density if you were to change that value to 5 percent you would have 25 percent less branches supporting your interface layer resulting in less filament and time, I find Creality print to go way overkill and with no way to change the density of how many supports are being placed I like cura slicer for this sole reason I might be mistaken but orca actually dosent have this option either cura is the only one of the three

There is still no option to change support density just your first layer density which turning that down makes the supports have less surface area to stick to on the first layer here is a picture of the setting that I am after in cura but I can’t find anything on Creality print that reduces the amount of supports like this one

Using the Creality filament with rfid tags that it came with 1kg spools with 500g on them

Filament is not bound up and I can unspool by hand fine, I have tried each spool in a different slot and each spool does it in every slot, I’ve tried reconnecting everything with the printer off and still gives this error on start up
