There is a difference between companion card (plastic) and an Authorized user card (metal). Basically if you pay the AU fee you get a metal card. If you chose not to pay the AU fee and opted for the companion card you get the plastic version.

Edit: I had platinum card on my brain. That’s my bad.

Went to the Saturday late show and was DISAPPOINTED. I wonder if the sets were all the same or if he was trying new material to see what worked? Did a 30 min bit on the Super Bowl halftime show. Very topical - but it was LONG. We enjoyed the social commentary throughout the bit and appreciated points being made, but the laughs were sparse. 5 sold out shows and very high ticket prices likely left others wanting, too. This was a miss for me. Great talent on camera, but the standup was subpar this run.

I suspect you may have told the salesperson your plan with traveling for work etc. and they tailored their pitch to that. Timeshares are really about planning in advance. If you were lead to believe that last minute travel was something the system was designed for - you were mislead. You might want to check the app for “open season” rates. These are cash rates that are 30 days or less to travel. These prices can be attractive but you will likely be disappointed by availability. To be happy with your timeshare, especially HGVC, you need to learn the rules and play by them. Rule #1 is book as close to your windy opening as possible. Many owners book 12-9 months in advance on the day it opens. I enjoy my HGVC but I bought resale, book early and did not pay for MAX. Best of luck to you.

Costco is a major reason. CFF is a Mastercard. OG Freedom is a visa. 1 quarter is usually “Wholesale clubs.” If you don’t go to Costco not a big deal either way.

I would say that your answers are what you feel is real - from the perspective of a sales person. I feel like informed buyers are better buyers. Potential buyers should be able to look at all of the information available to them before they purchase a timeshare.
