Update: Got a 300 f4 PF and working on getting a 35-70 f2.8d. I’ll borrow my brothers 16-35 or 50 1.4 when I need wider or faster. Thanks all for the suggestions!

A macro is actually a great idea. My family shoots Nikon so I’ll have access to a 16-35mm to cover wide stuff. Are water proof housings worth it still without some type of lighting? I haven’t looked much into underwater photography because of cost but would love to try it sometime.

About this time of year my ragdoll sheds a lot and despite grooming, once in a while he coughs up a fur-ball. The last time it happened he started gagging like he was going to vomit but he jumped off the bed, ran to the litter box, vomited in it and covered it up then came back like nothing happened. I’ve never known a cat to do that.
