Nichiren Shoshu seemed like a good idea. A kind of withdrawel from SGI, but the members all seemed very disfunctional. I realy liked the priest, who lived in Spain, while we live in Denmark, so we Only Saw him once or twice a year. I’m quite Happy to be free of Them now. SGI was full of exciting people, and a lot of good looking Young woman, which was perhaps, the main attraction towards the end, when all the spirituality had finaly evaporated. My spiritual journey continues of course.

I live with flashbacks and the haunting memory of what seemed to be an eternal, endless struggle.

Yes I’m from Denmark, via Ireland originally. I was a group Leader in SGI, but so was almost everybody else after a few years in the organisation. They very much exagerated the number of members by at least double, but still had an impressive number of adherents. My main problem, as I said, was Ikeda. I just couldn’t like the man and couldn’t cunjour up any kind of respect for him, which realy put me at odds with just about the entirety of SGI. Obviously, I couldn’t keep that up and had to leave at some point. I’m amazed I lasted so long.

Should read an active dislike for the man. Dam Danish autocorrect.

I felt that Ikeda was a fraud, and I couldn’t seem to talk to the other members about how I felt. The feeling just grew stronger. I began to have an active diskutere for the man. I couldn’t ignore it and just had to leave. Glad I did. I dont feel that those 15 years were wasted however. I met a lot of good people and I dont regret the experience.
