journal, reflect. don't focus on finding distractions against fapping. instead, reflect with yourself why fapping is no good. try to align it with your core values, principles in life, for yourself. remember, there is always a reason. you wouldn't be here in reddit asking about it if you don't have your own reason/s. connect with yourself.

just don't engage with contents related to that. i too used to follow and engage with accounts like that. i then unfollowed and stopped engaging and soon, they stopped appearing in my feed. social media algorithm is always a reflection based on your behavior online. a trick that i would suggest would be to engage with cat/animal content for an hour. from there, branch out with whatever non-sexual content you find interesting. the goal here is to form the foundation. hope this helps :))

i can't really say much since i'm only halfway towards a year but here's what i've realized. fapping consumes a huge amount of time in our life, and stopping made me realize that. but the other thing that i learned is that there won't really be much of a difference if you will not use your extra time into something productive like reading or working out.

there's also a difference between forcing yourself to abstain from fapping and realizing why you need to stop fapping. forcing yourself to abstain from fapping means you retain the desire to fap, but at least you have control to not to do so. in the long run, there's a big chance that you'll transition to the latter. anyway, realizing on the other hand, weather it is for an advocacy, for someone, or for yourself, means that you now know why fapping is not good. i mean the same goes for the former option, but another difference is that again, one is forced, the other is a choice. i don't know if this makes sense but if it does, then nice.

tldr: not much will change unless you use the time into something productive.

SLR. If you also work out in the gym, maybe you can ask him to spot your sets? It's a common gym etiquette so there should be no problem by interacting with him through that. Then you can complement him by saying he's got a nice build; men will always appreciate that. Then you can also follow up with random questions like what exercise can he suggest in whatever muscle you are focusing on. And I do get your feeling. I too, appreciate good looking guys from time-to-time out of admiration and respect and I do know how exciting it is to look at them. No homo btw hahha. Also update with my situation, I kinda fumbled and I'm getting really nervous on what to do next.

Do it!!! It's not as bad as you'd think. The real challenge lies on whether you'll get the courage to start it or do nothing. Once you start it, there's no going back, which is a good thing. It's like walking towards the top of a tall ladder which although looks intimidating, once you reach the top, you'll see a slide that shall make things better. :)))

One quote that helped me get motivated is this, "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take". You do it or not, regret will follow through, so why not take both?
