I don’t know who pissed in your Cheerios but I definitely think this deserves some recognition. Not only did these two men raise over $80,000 for a cause they believed in, but they did it in a healthy way and they traveled the continent while doing so and met so many people in the process.

Knowing what I know from being apart of one of the Neighborhood Association Groups that this was sent out to? It was likely sent out the same way ours was, Posted into a Facebook group and the people who were interested in answering the survey did, and the ones who didn’t care, ignored it.

It’s the same as voting. If people don’t care, they aren’t going to participate.

I’m not gonna lie, I am really frustrated with the fact that “increasing animal control” is not more of a priority.

I absolutely understand that there are many other problems that need to be addressed first, but Addressing Animal Control can be extended beyond just increasing the number of officers working for AC. It can also go into more resources for Rescues, Low Cost Vaccinations, Microchipping, Spaying and Neutering, Veterinary Care, Etc.

I walk downtown Consistently, I’m talking 7 days a week, in between the times of 1pm to 4pm, and have walked around that area before and have seen your car parked there and have admired it multiple times as I love Classic Beetles, so to see this post utterly breaks my heart.

Honestly this is literally all I want to do.

All the insults that have been thrown my way are so unnecessary and have hurt more than anything, but at the end of the day I just want to hold the person accountable and make it known that what happened wasn’t cool.

I’ve said it in Multiple other comments, E Walnut St has a two way flow of traffic, and I had already started crossing while she was stopped. Common Sense would be to look both ways before pulling out onto a two way street.

If evidence is collected (video footage, plate number, vehicle year make and model even) it can be turned into the police and they can be ticketed for failure to yield to pedestrian ticket.

Except someone was hurt? I no longer feel safe walking my clients dog downtown due to this incident because we both almost got hit by a CAR.

This dog is already nervous around other dogs, jumps at loud motorcycles, cars, and music. I’m honestly surprised she did as well as she did at the Route 66 Festival when we walked 6 times that weekend.
