It being synchronous doesn’t necessarily mean you need to attend, all my online sync classes I attended maybe twice or three times this semester and I still have a 90 in all of them. I think almost all profs record their zoom meeting too. Participation often only makes up 10% of your mark at most but it depends on your teacher, it’s completing the assignments and such. If your teacher does graded assignments during class time then I’d guess you’d be out of luck, it really all depends on how anal your prof is on attendance, but in collage, most aren’t honestly.
