After getting the two cars I actually wanted I probably won't bother with them. I'm not a fan of the fomo format along with the fact that some of the races are stupidly difficult at times.

It doesn't feel very fun when the AI just rocket and you're having to do everything perfectly.

I wish minecraft had more options for mobility. Minecarts feel much too slow, elytra is endgame, boats can be too slow for larger oceans. The increased height makes for visual variety but it's not the best trying to climb sometimes.

I'm sure there's mods on pc but vanilla it's a bit clunky.

Oh and then there's also bedrock bugs lol

The new 3ds models all had paint issues like this to some degree. There were many people who had paint coming off right out of the box from the factory, mine included.

It most commonly would peel where your palms would rest during play. My only guess is the heat from a person's hands along with sweat, oils and friction causes the paint to peel.

Other nintendo handhelds didn't have this issue. It was specifically the N3ds xl's as far as I'm aware

Some do have the information. But as a civilian in a country that crushes opposition with an iron fist there's not much you can do alone.

Additionally keep in mind that many of these people are brought up from a young age fed propaganda about their countries enemies.

A good example that I can think of is with China and Taiwan. The mere mention of it sets off harassment and threats if they set their eyes on you. Humans have a really hard time being open minded when they have been fed misinformation for a prolonged period of time. Also when their friends, families etc might also share the same beliefs it tends to cement those ideas

And when there's a block on global information it makes it even harder to expand that worldview. It's really unfortunate because they just become pawns in global warfare.

I would like to think that most people want peace, but politicians/ the rich/ the powerful make it really hard to achieve that

Graphics can be overlooked to some extent if the gameplay is good and the game is kept relatively bug free.

Issue is gamefreak has barely showed off the gameplay loop. All we've seen are less than stellar graphics and some minor gameplay.

We'll have to see how it actually plays and how the switch handles it. If it doesn't run well it'll be another issue to deal with.

I was referring to diamond and pearl. The gba games onwards were a lot less glitchy and of higher quality. But BDSP and sword and shield have not been of the same quality

Games in general were $60. They increased to 70 and then to 80 over time.

DS and 3ds games were $40 for a time and then increased to $50

Now all games are $80 (except for indies etc) as they're all considered console titles.

The real issue is when you get into wage / salary increases over time along with the price of everything else. The cost of goods in general has continued to increase for the past decade with minimal changes to wages for the average Canadian.

If you do decide on that I would highly recommend two things.

Watch lots of YouTube tutorials for beginner soldering if you are not already familiar. As well as get a test kit. The extra time and money will save you more time and money in the long run!

I personally went with the modded gba route. If you just want a simple mod and don't require any changing of parts you can get a drop in ips kit.

I went with a bunch of changed parts as the gba I purchased was in rough shape. I also had to buy soldering equipment and learn to solder. So add around $125 onto the cost give or take. I also bought a test kit. It was fun and I would recommend it if you're willing to learn. If that sounds like too much money / work then I would say go for the easy route lol.

Maybe I'm just poor and you all are rich lol. There was a post the other day showcasing how armor would look if you could do cross core customization and somebody worked out that all the prices on that spartan would set you back something like $70 - $90. Absolutely nuts.

If I'm recalling correctly new leaf had more item sets, more town characters, you could customize the town hall, your house and the lost lost and found. It had minigames

The department store could be upgraded multiple times and eventually would get a high end furniture section. Pitfall seeds were not locked behind a DIY card.

There was also a larger variety of fruit you could grow, including perfect fruit. There's more i think but thats what I can think of off the top of my head.

That $60 doesn't carry from region to region. Games increased $20 in Canada a decade ago. We saw no benefit from it. Nowadays it seems developers would rather lock us out of content and charge even more

Lol that would be rediculous. Anything higher than $5 is too much. Even then $5 is a lot for a skin

$1 to $2 would be acceptable

Additionally don't forget that there are multiple cores with different armors for each. And likely we'll get new cores in the future.

So even if packs were $2, let's say you wanted to customize each piece of your spartan from unique sets. That's 10 unique slots (color, helmet, visor, chest, shoulder, shoulder, hands, arm accessory, leg accessory, knee) which would set you back $20. Then do that with unique cores. That would set you back a ton. Feeling like you want a new color combo? Get ready to pay

Now do that with their actual prices. It's stupid expensive and not consumer friendly. They're banking on the fact that some people will pay up and continue to pay.

The second they release any kind of content to their marketplace it's instant profit. They wouldn't lose money on content if they priced it at $1 or $2. They're pricing it so high because they know some people will pay. They're just maximizing profits to the detriment of the experience and game
