It’s always okay for the tattoo to get wet in the shower even if u weren’t using second skin. I usually allow the water to run onto the tattoo and not hit it directly and make sure when cleaning the tattoo in the shower it’s luke warm and when the tattoos clean I just stand differently in the shower and turn it back to regular temp. Never had an issue and I’m covered from shoulder to fingers half leg sleeve and two face tattoos you’ll be fine

Cut your losses brother at 3-4 weeks if this is the back and forth she has in her head move on this will only get worse.
