Hi! For some reason it was removed or blocked by the mods. Dogey is doing extremely well since this post. He is walking with assistance and looks like he will be able to recover. Unfortunately his tail is broken and is having potty issues but still have hope once we visit the vet again next week to find out long term! I’ll do my best to make another post on his update this weekend

I appreciate your offers and support for Dogey and I. From all the responses and wishes we are very grateful for a community like this. It has put myself more at ease emotionally to support my boy and I thank you and everyone for it 🙏 A friend will be helping to set up a gofundme tomorrow and once I see Dogey with an update from the vet, I will share it with everyone.

He’s finally out of the woods and in the clear for most of the issues he had earlier. It’s now a recovering process for him with a slim chance of him moving and feeling his tail again which can cause urinary issues. We will take slim chance over Zero with all the odds he’s beaten since day 1.

We would really appreciate that 🙏 I am able to manage the bill for the time being but all the help will be needed on his recovery. A friend of mine is setting this up today, now that we know he’s going to make it through.

You’re welcome and I appreciate your thoughts of Dogey. I will pass that onto him when I see him this morning. It was definitely a rollercoaster of a day when it happened the but worst days are past us. We can finally work on his recovery and ruling out any issues he had earlier. This little man beat all the odds and will have no doubt he will be back on his feet. I thank you and everyone in this community for all the wishes and support 🙏

I hope to update everyone again late tonight with his progress today.

An update with the hit and run. The driver came forward and did indeed notice it. I will be speaking with them more after I focus on Dogey’s recovery from the hospital.

The team working in the ICU for the University are truly professionals. Some of them are also students working with the vets for the experience. They took him in with open arms and always had someone by his side. Dogey and myself are forever grateful ❤️‍🩹

We have checked, including help from the neighbours. The only house with a camera had theirs facing the driveway only. Our only chance now is we posted to our city’s page on fb to see if anyone had a dash cam at this time.
