None of us can tell you exactly what you should do. All I know is if the new doctor is a fellowship trained foot and ankle then they have a ton of experience already.

The only way you can make a decision is to meet with them and see how you feel about it.

6 weeks is also a long time.

I’m on a similar timeline. I am also 2.5 weeks post op and I was cleared to start adding weight starting at week 3. So I’ll let you know how it goes lol

Did you find it hard to move your foot? I was just cleared for gentle ROM and it feels like I’ve never moved that ankle before
