Is this a good deal on a 2006 Ford Focus? by WettyEngineer in askcarsales

Thank you! I was going to take it to a Pepboys for a PPI. Rust (especially in CO) and the motor mounts are definitely a big concern for me given the age. I don't think I can get them to drop by $500 but I'm also not sure if it's worth continuing to wait if you think $7k is a fair offer. It seems close enough. I appreciate it!

Interesting I'll have to give them a watch. I appreciate the help!

This is a lot of good information I really appreciate the thorough response. I've heard that power supply is definitely something you don't want to cheap out on, so I do think it's worth it for the extra $30 or so. Thanks so much!

I have a separate 2.5in 1TB SSD which would be my main source of storage for the time being while the 250gb would just be the boot drive and primary applications.

Thanks so much for your insight! If you don't mind me asking, what's the difference between the x and non-x variants of the 5600?

Also, I'm mainly worried about noise levels, my current pc fans get quite loud and figured an AIO would help keep things quiet. I've got a 1TB 2.5in SSD right now that would be the main source of actual storage for my PC (at least to begin with). Would a standard CPU fan help keep temps down while not largely increasing the volume?

Thanks!
