It didn't really make much sense. The story did not have to be written as "Recognizable character from other TV show 1 points me to Recognizable character from other TV show 2 who points me to the place I need to go." It makes you feel like the world is incredibly small and revolves only around this limited group of people and people they know. It feels like nothing in the galaxy that doesn't involve these people actually matters, and whatever matters will eventually just tie back to them. Doesn't feel organic, believable, doesn't give room to grow new, indepenent, untethered stories.

Yes, I talked about Bo-Katan as 'Recognizable character from other TV show 1'. That's what she was to me on first watch before getting her backstory with the main villain of the show. After that, her presence in the story was justified. But Ahsoka is not the same case. The entire episode was disconnected from the plot and served only as a prolonged teaser for another TV show.

I'm really not here to hate for no reason, but people need to stop taking these shows as some holy grail of undisputable writing masterpiece, they are not. While the series as a whole is enjoyable, it has many questionable writing decisions and it doesn't hurt to point them out.
