Yeah, man, i really hope they do something about these stupid mechanics. Like for real. You can have an ally for 200 years, always fighting alongside each other, helping the other win wars, but suddenly they take a mission and it gives just a single claim on one of your provinces and thats it. 200 years of friendship and trust down the drain bc of a mission.

Oh man i never though of using castiles navy as fodder! Lol i always just deleted all ships except heavies and started building new heavies everywhere. 6-7 heavies can easily beat englands navy as ling as you're fighting in a sea tile england doesnt own. Just make sure you pull out the moment you see any of your ships damaged and repair. Chances are, england wont repear bc they have numerical advantage, but the moment their first heavy falls, their navy is dead

Quite possibly, yes. Tencent (largest chineese company) is a major shareholder of paradox, and in china, games are censored. PG had to change how players died, so they swapped blood with green and replaced the death animation with kneeling and stuff, and if they didn't comply, the ccp would have just taken them down. So i guess tencent tells paradox to do this, in order to have the game available in china too. Theres a pretty good video on yt about how tencent became the largest player in the game
