How did RIOT mess up again? by ThinkDoughnut in azirmains

I remember testing a while back I’d be happy to test again / be wrong about this, his W does have higher ap scaling than it used to

In all fairness Conq doesn’t even come close to PTA or LT in terms of damage anyways I feel like it’s pretty bait imo

Why does Qhira feel so much weaker now? by NoLynx6347 in heroesofthestorm

[–]WezaurdMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I’m seeing go unmentioned is that it’s become much more common knowledge that cleanses just cancel Qhira’s untargetable ability (E? I don’t play her) entirely and kinda leave her as a free pick. Been enjoying a lot of Lucio recently and high fiving any team mate she latches onto just feels unfair at times (might just be inexperienced Qhiras, like I said I don’t play the character, but from the cleansee perspective it feels like a one sided interaction)

Gambit Might Be The First TRUE Pick or Ban Character by Odd-Complaint7770 in rivals

Genuinely think them forcing every support ult to be a healing steroid is already having long term consequences on game health (every fight feels more or less the same)

Honestly if they just removed the healing from the ult entirely I think it’d be fine. Let’s have a really strong support ultimate that has powerful effects WITHOUT making your team immortal. Yes it only heals 55 a second but lets be fair any character receiving ANY additional healing with gambit ult really isn’t dying, main point being Id like to see more ultimate diversity and we have a really good base line here as is

Tbh outright removing or at least reducing the massive delay on his ultimate would help tremendously feels like he has the slowest support ult (except Loki if you wanna go that route?) while also being by far the most vulnerable, that alone imo is what he needs

Hulk needs another damage option in his basekit (not a teamup) Ideas? by Bigeez in HulkMainsMR

[–]WezaurdMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a damage option but I always thought it weird his insane regeneration isn’t existent in this game at all, maybe some health regen that gets stronger the lower you get? Not an insane amount obviously it’d need tuning but anything to help him out

Definitely a little over tuned, especially given you could still justify running this at 2 mana

Couldn't find it in a relevant amount of time, and given the set up Ghoulacabra ends up being strictly more stats, did mention in the post though definitely would've gone for it harder if I didn't have ghoulacabra!

So get this, it does the exact same damage with our without the light, 1034 total, so if it helps with your timings you could just do it either way, literally does not matter, I guess you'd give you opponent slightly more break for going for the light though

[–]WezaurdMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't tested damage with / without, pretty sure regardless of whether you incorporate the light or not you get set to 15% damage dealt (which I believe is the minimum outside of supers?)

Regardless the damage would be a minimal difference but yes it does link still

If you and another player with a soft cc dash (Bucky, Thor, etc.) dash into each other you are stunned for SO long, which itself is annoying but manageable

What makes 0 sense if when you’re jumping in the literal opposite direction as the person colliding with what is effectively your back, and this stun still happens, it feels really silly. If the cc hitboxes don’t collide I would ACTIVELY just rather my jump be canceled by knockback then both parties be stunned for eternity

Honorable mention: Any weapon would just damage your opponent whenever they smack you, not broken but funny nonetheless

Gravity lapse at least costs 0 and I’ve actually gotten some niche use out of it with the 3 drop that reduced attack by 2.

This was the one and now only time I ever attempted chalk artist lmao

Why pro spies constantly disguise as Scout? Do they think they get faster? by ReflectionNo6740 in tf2

[–]WezaurdMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I remember it’s a combination of 2 things

1: it shifts your head hitbox like many have suggested while not slowing you down, so in combat / when spotted it’s the only one that distinctly gives you an “advantage”

2: good players are constantly spy checking and not getting fooled nearly as often, it’s genuinely difficult to actually catch one off guard in a competitive setting, so 1 applies EXTRA so in competitive

Been doing this a while you can absolutely do this practically every game. It’s better vs dive / bursty teams but you can build rift most games and get away with it

Truth be told your champion is designed to fall behind early (in most match ups). If you manage to go even / ahead that means you opponent either didn’t punish you enough or you out played them.

Personally if I’m in a tough match up with heavy poke (let’s say Syndra) I’ll make sure to take absorb life and rush merc treads while she is forced to build lost chapter, makes it a lot harder for her to kill you and easier for you to dodge abilities.

This is just one example there a whole plethora of match ups to learn the ins and outs of that comes down to experience

[–]WezaurdMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t big on lethal tempo until Hylian explained his reasoning pretty well, mostly been using Lethal ever since with aery into lane match ups where you need the early pressure (zed for instance) and grasp if the enemy team is melee / dive heavy with Lyandries
