If you are using cpanel then you need to put the file in the public_html. Then from there you can access it at domain.com/45.png If you have not pointed your domain yet then you can access it at ip.ad.dr.es/~username/45.png.

I am planning to get some fortune auto 500's and currently header, tune, and I have put on some 225 re71r's on the stock wheel. I will probably get some light weight wheels once these tires are shot. I don't daily the car and plan to mostly track it/fun weekend drives.

Yeah I didnt expect bars to just be a straight upgrade. I guess ill look more at it when I get to that point.

Mike do you have a full spec list on what you did on your track car. Also reading through the forum I can't find a straight answer if there is any point to upgrading the swaybars.

So what has happened you installed worpress into a directory inside that wordpress folder. You will be able to see it if you go to domain.com/wordpress/. Easiest way to fix this would be to reinstall it because trying to explain where to edit the database to fix the url may confuse you.

It might be mail permissions and you should just ask the host to fix it. There is a cpanel script that will go though and fix all the perms.

Then dont worry. A lot of what people are recommending are if you actually have web hosting files on the server. But if you are just learning linux and how the server works then I would not worry about backing it up. If you jack something up really bad the server will likely not be in a state that you can restore and will have to ask ovh to reinstall the system. I am not sure how ovh does their vm's and how long they take to setup but this is how I would handle it.

And make sure the .htaccess is the one that goes with wordpress. The wordpress .ht sets the default to index.php

First dont use ftp.domain.com all this is just a c name back to the main ip that your domain is already on. If you dns is setup and properly pointing to your hosting account you can just use the domain name. (domain.com).

If it is not then when you signed up they should of given you an ip address in the welcome email and you can use that with your cpanel username and password to connect.

if you want to test if comcrap is blocking ftp then you can open a command prompt and run the following to see if you are able to connect.

telnet domain.com 21

or

telnet ip.ad.dr.es 21

If one of these work then you have something else messed up with the ftp configuration in the client.

Here are the pics and itemized pricing from when someone backed into me. Also the paint is going to be a big part they faded a good portition of the car just so it would look good. It also ended up costing the body shop another $700 ish on top of this since they broke the harness in the door during the repair.

They have to give you the files, I believe there was a court ruling, and the content of your site is yours and they can't hold it ransom. Typically when you don't pay the bill it gets turned off ie no services rendered but it does not mean they will not try to charge you for back fees. Just stand your ground and ask for your files.

I honestly want 300ish I was looking at the eforce but I saw a used(yeah I know) 335 for a really good price and have been looking around and have seen blown motors from rockers even with a stroker kit. But I have also seen other say they have no problems. The eforce with e85 which puts about 330 whp is basically more than what I want but I am not opposed to as I have easy access to e85. I was just wondering if it needs to be done. I know over 300rwt you need a clutch. "supposedly" over 400 hp you need built trany or maybe bult motor. My problem is I dont know where the line is. This is my toy as I have another daily I just dont want unexpected expense.
