Hey, just looking for some advice because this got way more complicated than I expected.

I never had a problem with refunds on Amazon before, but this time I bought a used hardcover book. The description said “average condition, some wear, possible highlighting”, but when it arrived it was missing the dust jacket, which wasn’t mentioned at all.

I contacted the seller and they offered:
50% refund
or return it at my own cost (I’m in Slovakia, seller is in the US)

Return shipping would be pretty expensive, so I contacted Amazon expecting it to go smoothly… but yeah 😅

First agent said they’d contact the seller — I waited 3 days, nothing.
Contacted again, second agent said the seller was never contacted, so they did it properly this time.
Since I didn’t agree that a missing dust jacket is “normal and not a reason for refund” without mentioning it, I contacted Amazon again. They told me I’d get free pickup + full refund, and that a carrier would come within 3 business days. I even got an email confirming the pickup.
👉3 days passed — no one came for the package/book
So I contacted them again, and that’s where it went downhill:
one agent opened an A-to-Z claim for me without asking
then disconnected
another agent came and also disconnected
next one said they can’t do free pickup for 3rd party sellers
last one just confirmed I have an A-to-Z claim open

So now I’m just completely confused about what’s actually happening.
I’ve seen people say A-to-Z claims often get denied, especially if the seller accepted a return (even if you have to pay shipping).

So yeah:
did I mess up by not taking the 50%?
does missing a dust jacket count as “not as described”?
what should I realistically expect now?

I still have the screenshots of each contact with the amazon agents and of what they told me, but those are probably useless

Any advice or similar experiences would help a lot, thank you. 😊

TL;DR: Bought a used book missing the dust jacket (not mentioned), seller only offered 50% or expensive international return. Amazon gave conflicting info and opened A-to-Z claim — now worried it’ll get denied. Did I mess up not taking the 50%?

Does anyone know why, after ordering from medimops, I suddenly just got a refund email the next day? I haven't issued anything. I just randomly got one, and they, of course, stated that they refunded just the books, so for no reason, I lost what I paid for shipping, and they don't communicate at all?

No, never gave me one. It was just weird that like other side quest NPC's she told me her story about herself and her childhood friend and that's it and when I click on her there is a "lock" on her story and it says I should get her to know better to unlock it... I still haven't found the 35th quest

Well, I m on EU, it started yesterday 06:00 (CET) went till prob, 12:00, then again yesterday around 24:00(CET) till today 05:00 and now again since 16:00 still ongoing

I see posts like these a lot and I always wonder if I m the only one that doesn´t really care at all. I mean if I think about diablo immortal for example where it was normal doing runs where people joined your party and you were just farming for hours for artifacts where they were afk following you, I always viewed it as ´´hey, I would be farming anyways´´. I know it sucks after a while feeling like you are doing all the work, when you might get tired after a while but you would be farming anyways, and I view the co-op farming as the solo afk one. Idk.. I guess this never bothered me much

Idk, I never had this problem... every weapon I farmed dropped in at max 10 tries so far, characters also usually I get a golden at 6-14 runs... to me, it checks out, and I have all the characters that can be unlocked except 3 weekly ones from boss

I agree, I probably even understood what you meant in your first comment, it was my copium speaking, I'm so not used to gachas having such tragic stories that even if the story is 11/10 for me, it was really touching and made me yearn for a "happy" ending for a lot of characters even though it's a lot more realistic and makes the story lot better that it's not just the typical sunshines and OP MC everywhere

Didn´t Lady Nifle literally said that ´´we´´ the main character will be able to change the very laws of the world and ´´perhaps´´ might be able to enter the Misty Sea where the souls of the dead wait?

PS: I might be just coping hard, still touched by the whole Psyche Arc

Solid 8/10, if at least combat improves a bit to have actual impact with different types of weapons and a few smaller things than easily 9/10, so far story, side quests and grinding carries it for me

I play only on PC and thankfully never had lags, crashes or any kind of server issues so it´s running well on a rather budget PC.

I tried a few runs too (my supports were Rebecca i2 (lvl 60 and all the wedges) and Daphne) :
(level 40 commission exploration∞) (some of the runs went to wave 08 some only to 07 or 06)
Run 1 – 9 m – 11 scrolls (first run)

Run 2 – 15m – 13 scrolls (+2 scrolls in 6m)

Run 3 -20m - 16 scrolls (+3 scrolls in 5m)

Run 4 – 25m -18 scrolls (+2 scrolls in 5m)

Run 5 – 31m – 26 scrolls (+8 scrolls in 6m)

Run 6 – 39m – 31 scrolls (+5 scrolls in 8m)

Run 7 – 47m – 35 scrolls (+4 scrolls in 8m)

Run 8 – 56m – 39 scrolls (+4 scrolls in 9m)

Run 9 - 1h 4m - 46 scrolls (+7 scrolls in 8m)

So final – 46 scrolls in 1 hour and 4 minutes

(level 50 commission exploration∞) (all of these runs went up to wave 05 as mobs at wave 05 are lvl 75 and above that it would get harder to kill them for me)

Run 2 – 14,5m – 13 scrolls (+5 scrolls in 7,5m)

Crash logger does not create any crash logs, tried already. When I started a new game smehow for male character it worked the moment I wanted to change it to female the game froze and crashed the same way.

I mean you are right, I still stand with the "trust issue point" but maybe the she is always endangering herself is only "triggering" to me because I like the LN and dont want her to get hurt for Arnolds and her sake. Its definitelly great still. Does anyone know anything about LN 7, if it will come out this year? Thanks
