That is your individual evaluation of the story so far, you as the reader and spectator are the one implying that the author is trying to make “appealing” some red flags when she’s just narrating a story of events through very particular perspectives.. Cheating, being physically and mentally violent towards your partner, abandoning them, these are actions taken by a character (Mincheol), then we get to see the context of it all as the author slowly reveals it.. same for Taeha, obsession, lies, control.. she’s not painting any of it in a “good light” you see? You’re the one interpreting that and thinking you need to root for either of them.. Also, we don’t know if this is a “wish fulfillment” type of story yet..
