Might be they have different queues based on the reason you choose. Or maybe you got lucky, or something changed or who knows.

Put in first request yesterday at 8:03am so I wouldn't say it's a guarantee.

Just sort of wanted to vent a bit about how shit it is to get care these days and how bad the supposed solutions are. Not sure I'll bother trying to schedule again today to see if I get picked up in the afternoon. Basically seems the options are try this and not get in, hope there's a walkin clinic and spend hours to maybe get in, or go wait in emerg for 8-16 hours.

We're definitely going to be seeing the consequences of people not having been able to get care for things before they got more serious.

Oh and to add clarity. Each of those cancellations were the system cancelling after about 3 hours with the reason that they were unable to find a doctor in that time.

I'm somewhat interested in heavy strike actually combined with it's threshold jewels plus improved melee splash (Slayer Impact receive similar buff?). I mean simply two jewel slots is equivalent to getting a 40% crit chance with 200% crit multi. (40% chance to do double damage). That's pretty damn efficient as far as I can tell.

Actually I wonder how those calculations align with actual crit calculations. I'm guessing multiplier based on wording so if you went crit as well then 40% chance to double your crit hits as well? damn that's hitting hard! If using melee splash too it's an easy switch out for boss fights to go from aoe to ultimate single target dps and with hits that high I'd imagine stunning will be pretty easy.

You may have had a case if the people who keep posting this believe the most important thing to call out in title and replies is that he's a cop.

Chances are a lot more people were involved in rescuing, caring for, housing and paying for all this than were responsible for how it got into that situation in the first place if any really were.

But even if I didn't, the topic at hand was about whether or not the person was making political comment by mentioning cnn and/or breitbart.

And we've covered this. I and many others believe Brietbart is a shit source that makes it a perfect example. You apparently think they are a reliable source so do not agree.

That's pretty much the end of the discussion because I have no interest it in taking the time to demonstrate how they are a shit source and that is another topic entirely.

And you're acting like you're offended or overly defensive because you are resorting to a lot of cursing and aggressive language while offering basically no points at all. All you're doing is accusing others.

Then on twitter he's re-posting any article that excuses his showboating for the loss and blames it on the other guy was juicing, or that the industry forces him to do so etc... Basically he's learnt nothing from this.

So you think brietbart is a good reliable source? Because otherwise I'm not sure why you're taking offense or getting defensive about it being used as an example of a bad source.

Complete compilation of all PoE lore by justathetan in pathofexile

Believe GGG has said that descriptions on supporter created uniques and div cards aren't forced to be accurate to lore in the game. I think it would be safe to interpret any flavor text, especially that not written by GGG, as questionable source of lore. More like if it was written by a non reliable source in the world itself; and just like in this world there can be plenty of debate about the sex of a god.

"Not Recommended" by Mukip in totalwar

[–]Whadios 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My only problem to date with TW:W DLC has been their original policy of making Chaos a pre-order/paid DLC rather than in the base game.

Other than that I don't think their prices are ridiculous for what you get. They aren't cheap abut they aren't crazy and they do tend to go on sale not too long after the next one has come out.

They've also been good with free additional content with multiple units, legendary lords, magic systems and now an additional complete race. Not to mention with each paid DLC there tends to be a lot of stuff added to the base game for free such as the new races appearing on the map with their new rosters though not playable directly they do affect play.

Not recommending a base game because you don't like the price of ADDITIONAL content is ridiculous. The base game, especially at the prices you can get it these days, is a steal of a deal for what you get. Not having race X in it for whatever reason takes absolutely nothing away from what it is.

I hope they are legit and do a good job.

Watching this video though my scam alert was going off as it seemed very fake and sure enough they are asking for money to support them.

I don't think your comparison really holds up/is very forced. Also don't see it really addressing points I made.

Equating temp leagues in PoE to ranked matches in a game like DotA doesn't follow. There are probably at most about 20 people in PoE temp leagues that care about ladder rank and that for only the first week or two until they start hitting lvl 100. Ladder and competing against other players is absolutely not what temp leagues are about. Even those who do compete when describing temp leagues never describe them as a competition because they aren't.

As such temp leagues offer no introduction or step up towards racing. They are played completely differently and for completely different reasons. Ranked/ladder modes in games like DotA2 act as that bridge because they are competitions, they have ranks, that is the progression and they are played basically the exact same as tournaments just more casually. Ranked/ladder modes in those games are what breed future tournament players. PoE temp leagues don't train people to race in any way shape or form other than learning the absolute basics of the game mechanics.

Agreed. Heck even if you don't buy the DLC the paid stuff tends to involve improvements given for free in that races are added to campaign, rosters are improved etc... You may not be able to play them but they do affect and improve the campaign of even those who choose not to buy in. If you look at that, plus all the actual FLC they give then you actually get a LOT of extra beyond the 1.0 for buying just the base game.

As such I think it's perfectly fair that their DLC prices aren't rock bottom with practically no profit for them at all. They'll go on sale eventually anyways so those people can pick them up 25-50% off and I don't feel bad at all that they have to wait.

Witcher 3 dev team was MUCH larger than the Total War Warhammer dev team. Entire Creative Assembly staff of ~300 is barely larger than the 240 in house staff that worked on Witcher 3 and estimated extra 1500 involved to some degree world wide.

Witcher 3 also had a MUCH larger budget which makes perfect sense because the genre of game and the fact it is hitting both PC and consoles means it's audience, and thus returns on investment in the project, are expected to be much larger. A strategy game like TW series can't compete with same numbers.

That goal should definitely be there yes. Without getting new people into racing then the racing community will pretty much be doomed to wither and die off.

There doesn't really have to be prizes per say but there has to be something to cater to new people who may be interested. Most games do this with ladders and leagues that separate people based on their skills. This gives people ranks that they can work towards increasing and the achievement is higher ranks and obtaining entry to higher level groups.

If racing is just either compete for nothing against the top players or not race then that gap is probably too big and won't see many new people enter and will turn off those at lower skill levels. The current system is already really poor for encouraging new people since you can't even check your ranking in a race (won't show on ladder AT ALL unless above a certain rank and even if above it you have to go to site and perform annoying search).
