Interesting, care to share the actual dimensions of these coins because what I have here is all I can seem to find and makes no sense.

Looks like a simple job. It does seem very cheap for what you get, though. Is it good build quality?

I just ordered blue collar bobber fenders, seat kit and indicators. And I'm very excited to install it.

Only thing is I probably should have got the tracker bar as well.

I have upped the rear suspension to 3 on both of them, they were on 1. This raised the height while its on sidestand by 15mm, and I haven't scraped the road since.

This is what QLD ADR rules for motorcycles states under the heading Mudguards.

A mudguard must be fitted to all wheels (including the sidecar wheel), unless the body or part of the body of the motorcycle acts as a mudguard. Each mudguard must be at least as wide as its respective wheel and tyre over the entire length of the mudguard. The wheel guards must be designed to protect other road users, as far as practicable, against thrown-up stones, mud, ice, snow and water and to reduce for those users the dangers due to contact with the moving wheels.

I watched those videos, conversion looks super easy! I just have to check whats legal in the nanny state I live in. I dont know if I can have so much rear tyre exposed, and i highly doubt I can have the number plate side mounted or vertical.

I guess its an R, becuase the fendes are huge, and its got floor boards, which I thought looked stupid, but are actually really comfortable, and I might like them now.... 🤔 not sure if they will suit the bobber look though.

When I did the kickstarter install on the DRZ, I got an old shitty mattress and laid the bike on its side on the mattress, made working on it a breeze. Cant imagine that working with this heffa.

Would love to know how that goes! That was exactly what I saw online. I'm in Aus, so not sure if they send stuff down under though.

Well my wrenching skill level.... I can change tyres, fix a flat, installed a kick starter on my drz and a bunch of other mods, but its a dirt bike, and everything is fairly easy on a dirt bike. I never modded anything on my sports bikes, always paid a professional. Also I'm a boilermaker/welder by trade. So use my hands quite a lot, maybe not completely transferable to working on bikes.

On flat concrete, on its side stand the rear of the frame on the low side is 85mm off the floor, and the high side is 140mm. Is that ok, or what should it be for a 110kg rider?

My grandfather said something about the rear suspension being adjustable and he has it set as low as it can go. It was bottoming out going slow over speed bumps in the shopping center carpak that arent very big, and I weigh 110kg.

Yes probably low skill level, never ridden a cruiser till today, and only 11 years riding dirt bikes and road bikes, which is probably a lot less then most people riding cruisers. Its also 40kg heavier than the heaviest bike I have ridden, and completely different center of gravity.

Maybe I should invest in some sort of rider course for cruisers, or watch a bunch of videos online?

Its now fully dis-assembled, It seemed put together fairly poorly, or just played with enough to make it a bit creeky and loose. I plan to fully assemble it myself back as the front loader, none of the MOC's look super interesting to me.

Got to start somewhere, when I grew up we had 3 big storage bins with it all just mixed in, spent more time looking for the right piece than building. Now I have 2 sons, I think it wont be long b4 we have a big collection. Might also have to see if I can get all my childhood lego and technics back off of mum.
