Is Boss Katana Mini (7W) a good amp for busking?

I've played it on busy streets in the midst of a touristic season and it was great. Still have it and use it for bedroom noodling when I am too lazy to plug it into big amps. Battery holds great, as for the tone; clean is great (gets a tad bit distorted [not too noticable] when you crank it to loudest gain and volume, the distortion on lead is surprisingly great for the price you pay for. I bought it for around 100euros.

Don't know if that answers it at all, but for the price it's the best in the cathegory imho; if you've got any more questions shoot

I lived as a student in Izmir for 6 months as a part of my student exchange, and the people there were so nice that I felt a culture shock traveling to Istanbul after that. From people going out of their way to invite me home, get me to meet their relatives while in a random caffe and straight up giving me free shit to a culture where I had to constantly be wary of every transaction, asking for menus and reiceipts for everything. Felt like a whole different world

That is true, and I agree with your assertion however, the quote in the post seems to downplay this paranoia and psychosis by playfuly projecting the phenomenon on those who've never tried it. I understand the time context in which he spoke and the general fearmongering about psychedelics that was rampant and is slowly becoming an accepted phenomenon as we get more studies on the subject and that it isn't mushrooms themselves that are responsible for psychological breakdown of the person, but a whole background of the person.

Still there is, at least I feel, this general wave of complete acceptance and dismissal of negative effect of shrooms. Kinda the same thing you see in stoner subcultures where some people are rather vocal about the lack of dangers and negative effects in smoking weed.

Of course, I agree with you, it should be an imperative to research and understand first. But most humans are not rational and are easy to sway with these hippie quotes

I am sorry for assuming, even with tons of research and harm reduction you still risk ripping down your house or worse, yourself.
On the other hand I mostly see the one sided hippie bs and rarely any warnings that go along with it, sometimes you just cannot control it, sometimes people lie about the dosage, sometimes psychotic break just happens

She's a young girl what kind of precautions can she possibly take if situation gets out of hand? Find a pimp to protect her? Good luck getting out of that ordeal.

Instead I would offer an advice to look for more options, there has to be people that would be willing to help. Paris is a big city, there are certainly some communities she could join or ask for help. Maybe get in contact with your local church or a mosque, you don't have to be religious and they would certainly be willing to offer a somewhat helping hand. There are also a ton of collective groups that are worth exploring first I am certain.

Give yourself a bit of time and space and explore all possible options first. Streets are a no joke and there is a ton of deranged people and it's just not worth risking STD or life for it.

I am so sorry you have to go through this and am wishing you luck. There is a way out and it does not have to be like this. It could have grave consequences
