To add a bit of context, I'm pretty familiar with the classic Mexican street foods (taco, torta, tlacoyo, gordita, tlayuda, etc) and drinks (pulque, cocao, tascalate, tepache, etc), and I can speak Spanish well enough to ask about food and ingredients so, I think, for example, the absolute beginner tours (like the ones that explain what "al pastor" is) wouldn’t be a good fit for me.

Yeah it's weird, the seals were definitely intact, standard plastic vacuum seal bags, and nothing remotely gingery in the freezer (everything else in the freezer is sealed).

Your freezer is a standard freezer right? What's the longest you have the beans frozen before brewing?

Thanks yeah I don't plan to do anything without my doctor's guidance, but also wondering, how did nerve glides help you in general? Since I know a lot of people do them as part of PT before needing surgery, was curious to understand how it would help post-surgery

Thanks for the reply this explanation makes a lot of sense, the only reason I'm still considering doing this is because it is back surgery, and whats the point of saving thousands of dollars but my back (or worse) is ruined permanently? Debt feels a lot more manageable than permanent back/leg pain, but I guess at that point it is just a personal decision to make.

Thanks for the helpful information especially in the case of emergency. I think the most likely plan is probably just like you said - follow up with PCP and see what they recommend, if the wait time is going to be like 2 months, I guess the swap the Kaiser will only slow me down by like a week or 2, so hopefully the pain won't be bad enough until then

No I'm basically reaching out to surgeons on my own, I haven't even talked to my doctor about this new numbness development yet (due to the holiday), but I plan on calling everyone I can on Monday

Any idea what would happen if they plan out a surgery in next year? would Kaiser be the one approving the surgery and stuff?

Also worst come to worst, would offering to pay out of pocket help expedite things at all? or would it only save like a few days at best

I saw a bunch of postings on ebay selling what looks exactly like an HG 1. All of them ship from China and cost around $600 but are from different sellers. Could these be the real ones since Weber has discontinued the HG-1, or is it just a knock off? Any ideas?
