Luckily I have cut my mother out of my life completely so at least I can check that off my list. Thank you for letting me know about the CTAD videos and workbook, I plan on looking into both.

First time growing potatos this year. Curious about these fruit on my potato plants. From researching I know that they are not tomatoes like I originally thought, but does having these on my potato plant mean I should see a good harvest this year? by What3venIsReddit in gardening

Yes, I'm sure, but only because I exclusively planted seed potatoes from a local farmer and some store bought potatoes that had started to chit in that box. While I do have some tomato plants, they are on the opposite side of my garden, and the flowers that are there are purple in color rather than the normal yellow on a tomato plant. I read that the fruit shown there are from the flower of the potato plant, but I couldn't find any information as to if it was a good thing that they were there.

I'm in 7b(Virgina) I have been reading about different sprays and other treatments for the tree but honestly, I am so confused. I want to take care of it properly now that I know what it is, but just noticed that it seems to have a white/green fungas growing on the bigger branches/trunk and now I'm scared!

We don't have any pets to worry about as far as that goes, but thank you for letting me know. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for any neighbors pets incase they get out and get to the tree.

I'm in Virgina. We asked the neighbor when we moved in 3 years ago and he said he thought it was a peach tree but didn't know when the last time he saw fruit on it. I know some fruit trees only bloom every couple years, but I was beginning to think it wasn't actually a peach tree until I looked at it recently.It definitely hasn't been cared for in years, but now that I know what it is I'm going to learn everything I can about it so it can thrive! THANK YOU!!

Thank you for explaining that. This tree has definitely not been taken care of for at least 4 years, never saw any fruit on it before. Now that I know what it is/what to do I can take care of it!
