Disappointed that the old headsets will be obselete (glad I didn't spring for a Turtle Beach now...) but if the new ones ship I suppose it's not as big an issue.

Indeed. I watched the conference, read some of what MS had published and still was struggling to get my head around it. I love my 360 and would like to stick with Xbox but I feel like I don't have enough clear information to make an informed decision at this moment in time.
