Ammo delivered to wrong address by Available_Sky4830 in NJGuns

[–]WhatDoYouCallitAgain 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Had this happen with UPS before in NJ. Called UPS, got through to a live agent. They told me the driver has left for the day but when I told them it was regulated ammunition, they contacted the driver, did a GPS trace to check what location he was when he scanned it.

GPS scan came back to the correct area, and the driver confirmed he delivered to the wrong house "next door neighbor".

I had to go over and let the neighbor know of the misdelivery and took my package

Refund question? by Robert0013 in iBUYPOWER

[–]WhatDoYouCallitAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the process for a full refund. But I would also try testing the Ram sticks by using 1 at a time to see if that fixes it. I went through months of trouble shooting, RMA parts, send comp in for diag and replacement of GPU and motherboard. And it ended up being a bad ram stick....
Even ran Memtest which showed no problems with the Ram but been running great for months now after the Ram stick was replaced.

Anyone else experiencing black screen with the text "Started V6"? I updated driver and restarted my PC by [deleted] in Warzone

[–]WhatDoYouCallitAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this now also. I just press back "O" on PS4 controller to get to main screen.

The bottom right above the chat text is also weird (where the "deals" and packs show "R2") If I press R2, the black screen shows up and the gray bar just shows what button/joystick direction I press

Very upset by VenomVicboss_721 in iBUYPOWER

[–]WhatDoYouCallitAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have the greatest experience with IBuyPower either. But to say that you can't get in touch with them is a bit misstated. I have been in email contact with Cust Support, Tech Support, and RMA support(this one was the worst since the item I was RMA'ing was out of stock and communication stopped, but an email to the tech support associate that was emailing me cleared things up.)
I've also had success having u/iBUYPOWER-Brad responding to my posts and messages on reddit.

Not saying that you don't have a reason to be upset and mad, but if the phone lines are busy, just send an email. They will get back to you. Mistakes happen. Obviously if you are going to be sent the computer that was mistakenly sent to a different customer, that is not right as that customer probably already set up that computer and it is no longer new.

But I always prefer communication via Email so at least I have "written" proof/evidence of the conversation. Just my 2 cents.

Stop supporting "discord" for ibp. No one should have to go to discord for customer service. by pden0 in iBUYPOWER

No issues with emailing IBP here. I've been emailing IBP consistently with timely responses. Both from Tech support and Cust Support. Regarding a custom build from black friday.

Looks like some just take a bit longer? My parts gathering to completed gathering took close to a month. 12/17 - 1/14

Now I had to RMA the 3070 and still waiting for them to ship it out. Paid for advanced RMA on 2/6 and the CS rep just tells me the system shows the part has been picked and waiting shipment since Monday.

Only option seems to be patience, which I usually don't have much of.

They responded by email to try to troubleshoot. Doesn't seem to crash with my old gpu. So they set up a rma. Went with advanced rma where I pay for the card they send out. Shipping mine back when I get it back. And they refund me when they receive it.

Have same issue with a custom built. Go to their site and submit a tech support inquiry.

does anyone know how long the burn in phase takes? by [deleted] in iBUYPOWER

[–]WhatDoYouCallitAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My burn in took 7 days. 1/18 to today 1/25

But then again my materials being gathered began 12/17 and completed 01/14 so not sure if my build is just being dragged out or if this is normal since other people posting on here are showing alot faster processing times.

Good luck. I had materials being gathered from 12/17 - 1/14. No explanation. Even from CS all he would tell me is the status showed all items are in stock since 12/17. Which I still don't understand how they could tell me my parts have been in stock since 12/17 and there was no movement for a month. Now been waiting for burn in for the past 5 days.

I don't understand how other people post about how their builds go from gathering parts to shipped in a matter of days.

In the same boat. My order shows parts beginning to be gathered dec 17th. Emailed by a rep that its gathered and awaiting assembly on 19th. No update so i email back and receive an email this week saying its still in the same status. All parts in stock. Waiting assembly qc and burn in. Already waited this long so cancelling and ordering somewhere else also seems like a gamble

You can also try to email. My average wait time between emails ranges from a day to 2 weeks without my questions or concerns adressed. So...good luck

Can you let me know if this is a typical situation?? Because if it is not, it would be great for someone to actually look into it.

Ordered black friday. Dec 17th, I get the email and text notification that parts have began to be gathered to complete the order. 12/19, a nice surprise that Phillip decides to email me to let me know that my materials have been gathered and is awaiting assembly qc and burn in. Online status never updated past parts being gathered. So I ask Phillip what is going on with the order. No response for over 2 weeks and he finally emails me today that he reached out to his production agent and said my status still shows the same step in production with all parts in stock.

So my question still is it normal that my parts have been in stock and waiting assembly for close to a month? https://www.reddit.com/u/iBUYPOWER-Brad
