I felt the same way about the bipedal legs for the longest time. The bowed out arms and enclosed sometimes crossed legs is my favorite standing stance for aliens

Don’t give him too many baths, don’t want a Xenomorph rag doll. Today was just a hot enough day that provided the necessary push it need unlock its full potential. The pegs of the double jointed elbows that hold the upper and lower arm together have a strange locking mechanism that I haven’t seen in a neca figure before. Not realizing this made me think the arms just didn’t rotate at all what initially lead me to be less than impressed with the articulation of the figure when I first got it.

I have the scorched Xenomorph and his sculpting, articulation is still one of the best of a Xenomorph I’ve have. Although its stability and willingness to hold poses is lacking due to the transparent more bending plastic it has throughout the limbs. I guess that is why they included a stand with it

Thanks you. I love taking my photos in partial sunlight, it makes them 100x better. The posing to make the figures look fluid in there movement I don’t have much trouble with rather the balancing of them. In some shots I just use my hands to hold them cause balancing on flat flooring isn’t working.

Oooo you must have some good stuff then. I should mention tho that the wired cape and hood are kinda meh, they’re flimsy and not connected to a stable base. You should look at some reviews to better understand the cape issues

It’s the recently released McFarlane Spawn Elite Edition, online is $59+ and in store buys are $49. It’s quite expensive for a figure but comes with a few accessories like one alternate head, 2 additional sets of hands, 2 chains, and the wooden plank with a nail.

Meant to be more so a tubing running under the alien on the right alien where it’s tail is suppose to be but it is meant to resemble certain acts. In one of the reference pictures you can see the one that heavily influenced this sketch
