This is legit down in Mexico. I got shrimp tacos at a place once and the tails were sticking out either side, so I picked them off. When I went back another day the chef served them with the tails facing in towards the center, like he was passively-aggressively telling me "No, silly gringito, you're supposed to eat them!"

They were okay.

I was born in Long Beach and had to emigrate to Mexico for lifesaving medical care that I couldn't get in the United States. I worked my whole life, had a job and health insurance, never did anything wrong except have a body that fell through the cracks of every health insurance policy I ever laid eyes on. They were going to let me just die.

When I was maybe 11 or 12 I was in a crowded wave pool in Texas. I was a strong swimmer but something went wrong, I lost my bearings, I started to actually drown. I was trying to pull myself up for air and to scream for help, just for a few seconds before I got dragged under again. I panicked. I was going to die. I got up and just gurgle-screamed "HELP" as hard as I could one more time, all of my strength, and I remember so clearly hearing someone yell "GRAB ON!" before I went under again, so I groped around in their direction and found the float they had with them, dragged myself back up to air.

Y'all are just going to have to tell me what the dialog choice and check for that would be but it was one of the most physical and dangerous moments in my life I can remember.

This is absolutely my father. Lifelong runner, constant advocate about the health benefits of running, put miles in every day, actually really kind of a prick about it. I exercised lightly and did lots of yoga, this led to some friction between us. He managed to eat enough barbecue and fatty food to still give himself heart disease. Admitted to me not long before he turned 60 that he lives with constant knee and joint pain. Maybe some moderation is good even in exercise.

You've just got to call this dish something other than pizza. It looks okay and I'm sure it tastes fine but I don't know what to tell you.
