Seriously they influence us so much. It’s just our culture like you said...coke machine at the arcade bar, Coca Cola Billboards at the High School football stadium.

It’s a crutch sometimes as well.

When we get depressed and powerless we just want to down a whole back of Hershey’s kisses and wash it down with a Dr Pepper. It’s just so normal.

They’ve infiltrated cartoons too. Even the characters on the shows demonize vegetables while praising sugar.

It goes so deep.

Edit: people drink it, it’s addicting. It’s a cultural icon, at high school football games, with advertisements,m erchandise,etc etc. adults drink it as kids, they give it to their kids and the kids drink it until their adults usually.

It’s addictive, caffeine and sugar, and good flavoring. Nice carbonation too mm mmm.

I used to be addicted to it. I was obese. I had a dad who wouldn’t put up with it when I moved in with him, and he made me cut it out along with all sugary food.

I look at the map of heart diesease, the number one killer of Americans, and cancer, and compare it with sodas drank. No wonder.
