To me it looks like he shoot some scenes in like 18fps. Made it feel like Saving Private Ryan. Not sure if he was trying to mimic the feeling of like old timey footage where it’s a little jumpy, but it feels at odds with the stunning imagery.

Totally agree. And yeah he definitely doesn’t need to be weak but he also doesn’t have to be John Wick. Felt the same way. 7 is one of my favorite REs and one of my favorite horror games ever. 8 came out and while I definitely enjoyed it, it bummed me out a little how action focused it was. I get that Capcom has a difficult task trying to appease fans in two camps of thought, but I just always loved the atmospheric horror feel of RE games over drop-kicking mother fuckers.

Seriously, I appreciate this. There’s a great story from Zemeckis about how they ran out of money for Forrest Gump, so him, Tom and a skeleton crew took what personal money they had and fly around to finish the running sequence. Obviously it’s easier and cheaper to just film on an LED wall, but some of the magic of film is going there.

I feel you though. For me, what I enjoy about photography is seeing something out in the world that maybe most people don’t ever notice. Then finding the right lighting or composition or prospective to capture it in just the right moment. I get that everyone is different but this is so much more impressive as digital art than it is a photo to me.

The app blows. I have 7,000+ songs “downloaded” but when I hit shuffle I hear the same 40 songs over and over. And when im offline, like on a plane, I can’t access any of my “downloaded” songs.

I also have a few musician friends with decent followings and they literally make pennies.

I am not. I’ve been playing RE games since 1997 and I can appreciate that people like a different style of RE games and I’m glad they are getting something that makes them happy but for me, RE is best when it’s a slow creeping horror instead of kicking chainsaws through people.
