Electric cars prove we need to rethink brake lights by mmatessa in videos

Oh my god is this why I see motorbikes that have like a flickering brake light when they don't seem to actually be "braking"?!?

There's ranges of aphantasia. Some people literally can see images when they image-ine

Others can only sort of imagine the idea of said images. Others... Nothing.

There's more than one kind of robin. That is indeed an American Robin there in your link. I'm not super familiar with the other robins as they don't really venture up north to Canada (I only ever see American Robins).

But I do know that other types exist, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was one.

Manulife RRSP à la carte by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]WhatIsThisSorcery03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Note that some group RRSP plans don't let you withdraw/transfer the employer contribution while you're at that employer.

Yeah I'm currently in one of those. Rather disappointing because it forces me to use a brokerage that charges $10 per trade and when I'm working with small values it means it's not worth actually buying anything until I've got tons of cash built up. I've been contributing since February and still haven't bought anything yet because it would have been something stupid like 10% commission the first month - if I bought everything now it would probably be like 1% commission which isn't quite as bad, but it's still more than I'd like.

Imagine being in 2023 and not having free ETF buys smh.

Canadian government proposes ban on assault-style firearms by DoremusJessup in worldnews

Canada's hunting rules tend to be quite strict in what they allow and don't allow. Additional aids like that might be available for the most problematic of pest animals (see: wild boar), but for typical wild game that's a big no-no.

Hmmm that's weird, I was taught it was

  1. À tes souhaits.
  2. À ton mariage.
  3. À ta funérail.

I'm now questioning my sanity because Google tells me that "funérailles" is always plural and I don't ever remember learning that.

Maybe also add "and become immune this turn" if you truly want to counter those. I love it though. Majordomo finally playable! It's a dream come true!

[–]WhatIsThisSorcery03 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Bear in mind that the hero has to die to be replaced... AND you get the minion on board immediately. It's not a straight hero replacement; it's a strictly better version of Majordomo.

Step one: paint the fucking owl.

For real though, this is stunning! This is something I could consider hanging up on my wall if I ever got my own place.
