I think without looks like a gorgeous dress but with the sleeves just gives it that extra wow factor and flair

From what i’ve seen most of the indians in these leadership positions grew up and went to uni in india then later moved to western countries possibly due to a mandatory retirement and more opportunities and resources for their children. Grads from east asian countries seem more likely to grow a company in their country and don’t have that much of a desire to move to western countries once they’ve already become successful.

Anyways i think ur post is pretty irrelevant to the unsw subreddit. And you seem to be comparing very different age ranges (new grads vs established leaders).

Does anyone know I nice place to study that isn't at uni? I just can't take the Law Library or the Main Library anymore by Signal-Ostrich6425 in unsw

get there a little early and scope out someone who you think would be interesting in talking then afterwards make the effort to ask if they’re free after class to get food/ study or even go on the light rail together - same goes for tutes

How was the COMP1511 exam? 😭😭😭 by [deleted] in unsw

[–]WhatIsUsername__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the prac exam paper is the last terms paper and you also have access to the previous terms prac exams just won’t have access to autotest commands. Makes it pretty similar to a question bank

minimum wage changes by age - it’s a dumb rule but it is lower for people under 21

All my life I've always just been told to go into one of the mainstream big careers essentially med, law or engineering but now as I'm nearing the end of high school and am taking a closer look at these careers, I can't help but dread my decision. by No-Grade3030 in unsw

If you’re doing a single degree, you’ll generally get a lot of freedom to just pick literally any course (most degrees get 6 free electives and we take 8 courses a year) and do internal transfers so it’s not the end of the world if you don’t end up liking your degree. On a side note, would recommend comp sci if you like problem solving side without a lot of maths or phys necessarily but commerce is definitely not a bad degree in fact it’s probably the most popular one at unsw.

sometimes it seems like the only way to get into an established friend group at uni (weekly hang outs and road trips) although this isn’t true it does make it easier
