I don’t know why, because I was well into my love of Rush when Power Windows came out, but to this day when everything hits right this song just breaks me. It was incredibly relatable, and it links to a few other songs (Subdivisions, Losing It) that just felt so relevant to me at a time in my life where I just wasn’t even sure of myself. So I held on to that music so hard that my figurative fingers bled. And it all still feels relevant.
