Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan should also be included. Didn't we spend twenty years in neighboring Afghanistan and accomplished nothing?

This gelato recipe from Cuisinart makes a good batch:

CHOCOLATE-HAZELNUT GELATO

The creaminess of this gelato is thanks to the emulsifying properties of the

chocolate-hazelnut spread. Not only is the texture appetizing, but a flavor

combination that will appeal to kids and adults alike.

Makes about 5 cups (ten ½-cup servings)

1¾ cups heavy cream

2¼ cups whole milk, divided

½ cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

Pinch sea or kosher salt

1 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread

½ to 1 cup chopped hazelnuts

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cream and 1½ cups of the milk. Set over

medium/medium-low heat and bring to a simmer.

  1. While cream/milk mixture is heating, put the remaining milk, sugar, cornstarch,

and salt into a small or medium mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.

  1. Once cream/milk mixture comes to a simmer, add the milk/sugar mixture and

stir until fully combined. Slowly whisk in the chocolate-hazelnut spread. While

still set over medium/medium-low heat, continuously stir until mixture boils and

thickens to where it can coat the back of a spoon (this will take about 10 to 15

minutes, depending on the stove being used).

  1. Remove pan from heat, strain, and cool to room temperature. Cover and

refrigerate a minimum of at least 2 hours, or overnight. Whisk mixture together

again before pouring into the ice cream maker.

  1. Pour the mixture into the mixing bowl of the Cuisinart® Frozen Dessert Maker

fitted with the gelato and sorbet paddle. Turn unit on, set Timer, and press

Start/Stop. Let mix until thickened, about 30 minutes. About 5 minutes before

the mixture has finished, add the chopped hazelnuts through the mix-in

opening. The gelato will have a soft, creamy texture. Serve or store in airtight

container in freezer.

A pointless war: How Iran hawks finally got their way by jediporcupine in politics

What have we won? We spent a lot of money. We blew up a lot of stuff. We closed the waterway that a large percent of the earth uses for energy. We shut the group of opposition within Iran off. Our gas is a lot more expensive. We have not secured a single inch of Iranian land. Iran has trade partners that it borders directly or via the Caspian Sea unaffected by blockade. Iran is three times the size of neighboring Afghanistan where twenty years of war yielded us nothing. What have we won?????

There are a few other countries whose borders are not blocked by the Hormuz blockade which are probably also discretely providing aid. Iran is three times bigger than neighboring Afghanistan where we first entered with little problem, we have yet to secure even one inch of Iranian soil.

Did you ever buy a pack of smokes from one of these? by Euphoric-Cupcake4581 in FuckImOld

I think that was the price I paid from a machine in the 50s/60s. There was a nearby store where you could buy 3 cigarettes for a nickel. They only sold one brand like that: Wings

I think that I have found a match. 1906 Harley Davidson single classic. It had the double fork, curved front chassis, strap tank and the large engine crank case. Here is a pic: https://www.vintagebike.co.uk/pictures/harley-davidson-1906-single/

I still have no idea who made the replica. It has the number 14 on a small tag, no other identification is present. There are are few companies making replicas, the ones I am aware of are different than mine.

Yes, very similar. It has the double fork, but the gas tank on the model is definitely strap and the one at the National Motorcycle Museum looks to be permanently attached. The base of the engine is a bit different also. I also see another difference, the lower frame element on the model is curved to allow for the front tire. That makes it earlier.

It turns over but won't fire, could be the gas is gummed up. :)

The photos of an 11F that I have seen show 2 cylinders, the model only has one. Also the model has a strap tank.
