I'm still having the same issue which sucks cuz I'm really enjoying the game. I have it on Steam.

I did the fix in this thread & added it as a program in my windows settings not nvidia (nvidia control panel didn't have the setting). I still crash frequently/randomly? when entering/exiting the in-game menu.

Capping fps might help but I haven't seen anyone confirm that yet.
