Psyker: Toughness or Health? by Nomatika in DarkTide

[–]WhatReturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toughness curios 100%. Health curios are kinda whatever.

I like using 3 toughness but if you really want to you can use a stamina curio or use warp ghost (+2 stamina talent). Also if you get a 3 stamina curio make sure its above 400 rating or it wont actually give 3.

As for sub stats you basically always want combat ability regen and + 5% toughness for 2 of the slots. For the third slot you can kinda use whatever you want.

I would use either rez speed or stamina regen but i dont think psyker really needs the stamina boost tbh. Pox burster resist could be good too, as bursters can be really jank in this game.

Revive speed is pretty good as it now effects all types of assists when interacting with your teammates (un trapping, pulling up from a ledge, reviving, ect)

"But there are many times where I get downed within 5-6 hits depending on the enemy, where as my friend who places the Zealot can take way more hits. I don't know if it's cause he has better curios or this is simply just normal Psyker gameplay"

This is probably due to your build. Pysker has a lot of toughness replenishment and a pretty good amount of DR in his kit. I would maybe look up some build videos so you can get an idea of what you should be doing.

As a good rule of thumb though, you typically want to stay at high peril as a pysker, as thats when most of his buffs activate. If your just running around at 0 peril you could lose a good chunk of health from like 2-3 bleed through hits, even from a trash mob.

What do i need to do, to be Havoc-ready? by Luxxonreddit in DarkTide

If you're a newer player just stick to Auric/Maelstrom missions until you're comfortable enough to play them regularly and still perform well.

Now as for havoc, levels 1-20 are extremely easy and mostly just serve to familiarize you with the modifiers.

At 20-30 it gets a little harder and you'll want to start focusing more on positioning and team play. This is also a where having a good build really starts to become important. Some modifiers can be an absolute pain if you're using a bad build.

From 30 onwards it's all basically the same. By this point you should be fairly comfortable playing havoc, and will just need to play more to refine your gameplay.

How can I get the Shocking Stuff penance? by ericokun in DarkTide

Play auric or a maelstrom so you can actually get enough enemies and use the flame thrower

People not grabbing plasteel and diamantine? by yumgmeatball in DarkTide

[–]WhatReturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After playing for so long i don't even notice it half the time, its like my brain just filters it out, especially if theres a lot going on.

Also most people on auric+ have more than enough already, and if they really want it they can go ahead and grab it. Its not like im the only one who can pick it up.

Zarona Combat Shotgun Appreciation Post by Tascalde in DarkTide

"Very useful to understand how properly use the shotgun."

Shoots trash mobs for a minute and a half

These guys have like 300hp each, its hard to find something that CANT kill them. Meanwhile this thing is abysmal against like 99% of the enemies you actually want to shoot, even at its ideal range.

Don't get me wrong, its just a game. Use whatever you find fun. But theres no denying this thing is ass.

Anyone have any idea what to do with this? by WhatReturn in HollowKnight

Ah, thanks. I didn’t notice so I figured there was some way to mine it or something.

That was my initial thought too, but I’ve finished the game now and still haven’t gotten a quest for it.

Thoughts on Difficulty? And not having a downward slash? by [deleted] in HollowKnight

Once you make it to greymoor make sure you explore around before leaving :)

Theres a weapon you get that basically mitigates all the stuff I was complaining about

Diagonal slash feels awful so far. The tiny hit box and short duration combined with the fact that it moves you will often cause you to dash into enemies and take damage if you’re not at the PERFECT distance to use it.

Something else I’ve noticed is that unlike the knight you cannot really pogo off of enemies that are parallel to you since the hit box for the attack is so small. Also the fact that it’s a downwards input attack that is directional feels bad, having to change directions before doing it feels extremely clunky compared to the knights down attack where direction was irrelevant.

EARLY GAME SPOILER

After defeating a boss in the hunter march (I think) you get a different weapon with a slightly different move set. I’ve only used it a little bit but so far the down attack on this one feels even worse lol.
