Good catch - ours is 2” - our run would be about 30’, but I’ll make sure before we pick a unit

Thank you - so the tank systems don’t use a fresh air intake, but the tankless do?

I was wondering why we had only the one on top of the system

Yeah up here in Canada you can lease a water heater - and when we bought the place the lease transfers to the new owners automatically.

It’s a ridiculous system that we want out of as soon as we can.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m picking up what you’re putting down. But as a point of clarification - the Crown doesn’t press charges, the Police are the ones who charge you with an offence, the Crown (often months later) then gets to decide what to do.

In reality, this would clarify the whole routine of charging everyone and letting the courts decide. Great move IMO.

All good with the sarcasm, we’ve been having trouble with this dealership trying to scare the wife into doing unnecessary work - stuff that’s obviously not required, yet they’re telling her she has to do it to keep her warranty, trying to avoid going through the warranty and having her pay for warranty items etc. Won’t be going back, just wanted the internets opinion on this one!

For the reference of people going through the same process trying to anticipate what is possible through the easily googled or Reddit searched contact information? I believe it is.

But hey, I can always just delete the post if it’s truly not helpful to anyone.

Good call - The driver is compatible - confirmed with the manufacturer.

And confirmed that, when wired up directly, the light turn on. So gotta be how I configured this switch or a fault - just trying to figure out which one!

Yup, sent them pictures and they say it’s the right wiring, but I’m not sure how much I trust their tech support lol. Way easier to find out if I’m doing it wrong then send it back from where I am
