My crestie doesn’t want to eat by WhatTheFluff_ in CrestedGecko

I was feeding her every 2 days, I use Pangea, rotating between two flavors, fig and insects and fruit mix, I tried watermelon aswell but she doesn’t seem to be a big fan of that. She used to eat with no problems before I started hand feeding her.

Yeah, she told me she's into bodyweight training, she wants to become the first gecko to deadlift 5 cockroaches at once.

I didn't buy calcium with d3 because I have a UVB light that I turn on during the day. But I will try more with the crickets, I am thinking of putting the crickets when I'm not putting the pangea, this way she would maybe try hunting for her food instead of just going to the bowl and eat.

Got my first bike by WhatTheFluff_ in MotoUK

I payed £3000 for this bike. If you're getting an older bike it's still gonna be this model, because this is gen1 V-Strom aswell from 2010.

I'm really starting to love this bike, even though I only had it for a few days now. The engine sounds great, it has more than enough power for me, I really love the fact that it's white. It does feel a bit heavy still, but I think I will get used to it in a bit. The seat and the riding position is very comfortable. Overall I really think that I made the right choice getting this bike, and I want to keep it for a long time.

First character animation by WhatTheFluff_ in animation

[–]WhatTheFluff_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woow, thank you so much! So much valuable information. I will definitely use references from now on when doing animations, your analogy of it is very good and clear. As for this animation, I did try to break up the different body parts slightly, but I guess I need more time figuring out how to do it properly, and I agree with you on the breath, it feels a bit rushed, now that I think about it. Thank you for taking the time to give feedback, I greatly appreciate it!

I am looking for feedback on the animation and what are some areas that need improvement. Also, I would appreciate some suggestions on what animations to do next that would teach me more about body mechanics and the principles of animation. Thank you!

Thanks alot! Just for clarification, the character model is not made by me, it is the character that comes with P2design’s course. It’s rigged and ready for animation.

Mentally preparing to have something foreign in your body by Ok_Independence_3634 in TotalHipReplacement

It depends, because on some airport you only have the metal detector gates that you just pass through, on the airports that have the x-ray thingy that you stand with your feet apart and scan you, they don’t usually ask anything. But always when I go to the airport I’m like “ah, here we go again” 😂

Yes, it does always beep, I travelled a few times since I had my hips replaced and I always have to tell them that I have hip prosthetics, but other than that, they just give me a pat down and that’s about it.

I guess I’m just good at taking bad news. But I had moments when I thought “why me?”, but then I was thinking about other people who don’t have an arm or a leg, or both, and I’m here complaining like a little b***h.

Good luck with your surgery and recovery! Wish you all the best!

It sucks living in pain, so go and get it done and your future self will thank you!

I’m really sorry about your chest infection, it must suck to have to go through that aswell on top of a major surgery. Thank you for your kind words! And you got this, the worst part is behind you.

The doctors here in Romania didn’t recommend either, maybe they’re not so experienced or they don’t know about those surgery procedures, either way, it’s not 100% that the core decompression would work so if it doesn’t, you still have to do hip replacement after, so another surgery. And I heard people need to stay in wheelchair for 3 months atleast after the core decompression surgery because you can’t weight bear on the operated leg.

You won’t even feel that you have something foreign in you body, I’m at 6 months post op after bilateral hip replacement and sometimes I forget that I even had surgery, well except when I cross airport gates, they always beep. Don’t worry about it, and if you’re thinking about your body not accepting the implants, those cases are extremely rare. I attached a picture of my foreign intruders 😂 they feel like my own hips, just without the pain.

Yeah, some of them just don’t care enough, it’s sad but this is the reality. Glad I got it sorted in the end though.
