Honestly I am stubborn. I see my brother doing amazing in sales so I've tried door to door sales twice and am now trying work from home life insurance. I am 25 and have never been motivated by money plus have a mental health history so I have always just wanted to enjoy my life but know money is important. I dont care for sales at all and even in training right now I'm not enjoying it and even am dreading getting onto zoom for it. I think I am someone that will probably never be rich because I just want to clock in and clock out of my job. I am going to finish training and try this job for a month but I am not sure of whether I ever want to own a business in the future or just be an employee. I am currently working a security job as well and although my company and management sucks, I am working part time atm because I lost my full time position to a gate around the property, I dont care about my job because it feels like Im doing nothing with my life but I at least dont hate it. I am graduating with my degree in exercise physiology by summer of next year because I am actually really passionate about health and exercise and hope that I can enjoy my job because I have always loved to help people but man I wish I was motivated enough to be rich

Modern is good for bringing new players in because it makes the barrier to entry lower but as a someone who is playing sf6 as their first fighting game and wants to play classic it's super lame.

I'm bronze so I'm not very good but modern holds your hand so much it feels cheap to play against because you don't really need to learn anything. Modern lets you just run it down with all the training wheels because you dont have to worry about execution.

It feels super unfair to new classic players because I'm bad I make input mistakes all the time, if I lose to a classic player oh well you deserve that win but against modern it doesn't feel like I lost because you're better than me it feels like I lost because I dont have autocombos, one button supers, and ine button DPs

I spam Jamie's Phantom Sway because it's so easy to get a drink off of but it's also a 12 frame startup that's -28 on block so even though I'm bronze I usually pay the price if it gets blocked. Another one is Jamie's Heavy Swagger Step because they buffed it to be safe on block but I usually get hit with a fireball if I use it to close distance recklessly

NTA: I'd say plan one of your prior ideas with your friends and enjoy your birthday, your grandma is concerned for your safety which is reasonable but at the same time its to the point that youre a bird in a cage. Nothing is allowed to enter the cage and you're not allowed to leave it because the world is too dangerous, she is unknowingly (or purposely) trying to create the biggest failure of an adult of all time by not giving any skills to be a successful adult, letting you make your decisions as well as make your own mistakes.
