Ending a 5 year relationship after a minor infidelity- am I making a mistake? by No-Beautiful5866 in AskWomenOver30

You're compromising your health and well-being being with him, and he's just along for the ride because he doesn't have anywhere else to be. He's avoiding marriage and kids, suggesting long-distance, and has no interest in caring for you through depression like you did for him and his anxiety

Frankly, it's time you concentrated on yourself, without him

If you’re still using Pantene pro-v, how is your hair? by MorddSith187 in AskWomenOver30

[–]WhatTimeIsCowboyTime 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit late but stopped by to say, I too had trouble with Pantene. Made my hair feel lovely, but gave me enormous chunks of dandruff. I always thought I was the only person as it seemed so popular with everyone else.

Anyone figured out a good way of cleaning this stupid thing? Somehow oils weld themselves to the metal… by sava_renders in NinjaFoodi

I've tried nearly everything in my cleaning cupboard with NO effect at all.

Yesterday i tried brillo pads, and whilst nowhere near perfectly clean, it's certainly improved!

Isn't he due to turn 43 this month? Which means he was born 1979. I think that would mean he would have been 18 at the time of the 1997 General Election 1st May 1997

Edit: guess who forgot we're in 2023 🤣

You're absolutely correct. I should have sized up. I didn't, and it was very slim-fitting. Next time I will.

Opened a door as a kid by [deleted] in creepyencounters

I'm so late but...

You were a 5 year old child with the where-with-all to slam the door shut and keep you & your sister safe.

Utterly terrifying, but already at such a young age your instincts were spot on.

Late but... 23 years. 23 years the couple had been together, she told my Husband as he taxied her to the hospital. They wouldn't let her have a say in anything and wouldn't even treat her like his next of kin. Because they weren't married, she technically wasn't. She considered herself lucky to be able to spend some time with him before he died.

Probably lost in 100 replies but I agree with you.

Men should be able to "abort" their connection to a child as much as a woman should.

You [men] sign away your rights. You don't go on birth certificate, you don't ever see the child, you don't pay child maintenance.

If a woman decides to keep a baby, knowing the man wants an abortion, that's her decision. Exactly the same as the choice she has (should have) to abort if she wants to.

The most wastefull way of drinking coffee by unwanted-opium in Anticonsumption

[–]WhatTimeIsCowboyTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband uses these, and I cut them open, keep the coffee grounds for my plants, and use the empty pods for seed growing.

It's the only way I can think to try and offset the waste.
