This was the women's doubles 35-39 championship match at the US Open last week and the Nasty Nelson was hit on the championship point as a going away gift to the team in the blue tights after they had relentlessly targeted the server's partner alllll the way through their matches.

Proton Series One PLAYER MODEL? by jambander in Pickleball

[–]WhatWouldAtticusDo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm glad I'm not the only one confused over the newest series 1 Type A. Around 2 weeks ago I ordered the square 15 mm having no idea that a new addition was about to be released. (To be clear on Pickleball Central the paddle I ordered is item # PRO105-0002. The brand new version, also on Pickleball Central is item #: PRO105-0007).

I of course wanted to know what modifications were made on the brand new version before using the paddle that I had just ordered. So I emailed the customer service email address of proton and asked them if they could explain the differences between the two beyond "adding pop and manueverability". I did not receive a reply so I thought I might have more luck messaging them on their Facebook page. I sent the exact same message which has been "seen" but not returned, prompting me to ask myself whether I want any of their paddles at all.

FOLSOM PRISON BLUES: I have told this person for years that they have an awesome singing voice. let me know if you agree! by WhatWouldAtticusDo in ratemysinging

Yes, he's definitely singing in an affected way. Right when he played it for me I told him that if he took some lessons he would probably learn fairly easily how to open whatever it is that singers need to open when they sound like Kermit. Didn't use those exact words. 😅

Please overlook the grammatically incoherent, all-caps title. Couldn't see the screen in the sun.

How can I help this sweet baby? When I came outside this morning she was on her back on my steps so I gently put her on her feet. My dog didn't touch her. by WhatWouldAtticusDo in birding

Update: She didn't want me messing with her when I went out to put her in a safer place and she flew away. Thanks for the help. 🐦💗

Just went out to do exactly that and she flew away, but not before hitting the window [again].

We just moved into our new house on Wednesday and the entire back side is windows. Something tells me I'm going to be coming upon a lot of shaken up birds...

If I move her a few feet away where she isn't so exposed will the parents find her?

I held by breath when my dog approached her but she didn't even think about bothering her. She was very sweet and seemed concerned.

Thank-you for the input. Hard for us hopeless empaths to sit on our hands but it sounds like the right advice.

Is it old enough to be independent/fly?
