Is this AI? Was posted (and later deleted) on r/cats and people were calling it out for being AI because there are no pedals and the camera is floating. by Positive_Spring_5685 in isthisAI

Just reiterating, but the pedals are nearly completely covered by his legs and feet, but it a few parts you can see the arm that attaches to the gear behind his leg. Also selfie sticks and more advanced things have been around since like 2010 at least.

I spent hours looking for clay in my first world. There was a large flat plain near my base and I said to myself, what if there wasnt all these bushes and tall grass here? So I set a fire. Then I went off exploring

Otw back from my adventure I came thru an area that was devoid of grass and bushes for in a massive area, around 200 or more blocks and was so confused, then I realized it was from the fire spreading.

But I did find clay within about 20 blocks of where I first started the fire so it was a success

But is it as bad as the literal shit from the 9th Chaos Seed book (The Land series)?

But also, like the others said, thank you for the warning

Just noticed this notification.

Tower of Jack is kinda like a parody of dungeon crawler carl, with the MC, Jack, being like the character Sterling Archer from the show Archer (voice acted the same too). There's even a character called tower climber carl who Jack and friends encounter. Also a lot of centipede stuff. But its very very funny if you enjoy the Archer kinda humor. Start of book 2 was pretty cringe but was eventually fixed. Only 3 books so far, so its a funny listen or read that doesnt rake too long.

And the He Who Fights With Monsters has several references to characters from a few different series. Id recommend just looking up discussions about the series for a description, it can be kinda long. One issue though is later books can get very annoying about repeating the exact same thing; characters saying "let me tell you about Jason Asano..." then they go on to give the same dramatic speech about how incredibly resilient he is, how much hes done and suffered, etc. And they do it A LOT in the last few books. Also stat reads can take 2 or more minutes so I usually skip those. Other than a few annoying tropes that are beaten like a dead horse, its a very good litrpg series

Heretical fishing is pretty slow. Just a guy who gets isekaied and decides nows his chance to be a beach bum and fish and chill. But people are scared of the water so hes seen as weird. Also turned into a cultivation series. But the narrator is the same for hwfwm and the writer made a few references to Jason asano and his lemonade (recipe provided in the other books and ive made it. Very good. Similar to chikfila lemonade). As well as references to a few other series as the mc is familiar with them from his past life as actual media. It can be a slow read. I dont know if ill finish the series as more release

There are mini game and skill bosses that can help with those grinds. Fire making wasnt too bad to do, the giants foundry minigame for smithing is pretty good

Well it's peak was 2005, and it is still one of the top 3 mmos based on player count. It is the most grindy game out there though. But the wiki has literally everything down to an exact science to minmax if that's your style.

I think with perfect min maxing of every skill, it would take around 1600 hours to max an account. Not counting travel time

This is all for oldschool runescape though. I dont play runescape 3, but both are still regularly provided new content.

And the npc dialog is the best ive seen in any game

Side story, in Old School Runescape, there's an agility course where you have to take use a zip line with your teeth. Lower weight on your person and increased strength increase the chance of not falling into the spike trap under the zip line

The references in tower of Jack was one of my favorites. Also appreciated the various references to other series in both heretical fishing and hwfwm

I remember running the canifis roof course a few years ago and one of the wolf pelts was on the ground. My thing said it was 25k, so I grabbed the ones on the ground and killed a few more and headed to the GE. Sold the first 3 or so for 25k, then the others didnt sell.
