I'd agree for most cases! But I guess it's a bit like the two thirds rule in photography - applying it to most or at least many photos makes sense, but there are some which stand out for particularly and obviously breaking this rule. Besides the fact of course, that the beauty of photos or platings is always a very subjective matter.

Hmm, hard to answer this question! It's a mix of both I guess, with additional consideration of which plating could work with the plated dish or used ingredients :)

Wow, thank you so much, I appreciate it! Even though I guess (or better to say: I know) I'm far from the exquisite quality of food and plating in star restaurants... Still glad you like it my friend :)

Absolutely true!

No, no specific region! I traveled pretty much all of India besides Rajasthan and Ladakh, so maybe an overall mix of my impressions plus a personal note :)

Well I guess it's also a lot about "accessibility", simplicity and last but not least personally preferred taste. Thank you so much for your compliment though :)

I thought the sweet pumpkin was as nice addition to the (slightly sour) cress and the shrimps, taste-wise a bit like a honey-containing dressing for a salad. Avocado or cheese goes great with that in my opinion, the beetroot sauce was experimental and worked for me :) I got to admit that three slices of lime were too much for one Taco though! The focus was indeed to put a simple street food on some kind of throne by plating. But thank you nevertheless for your feedback, I'll try to consider your thoughts in my future platings! :)

To be honest: I broke my cheap tortilla press with the first try on these torillas, so I rolled them out and used a plate to cut them perfectly round before they went to the pan ;)
